Ohhh Tuesday!

So today in class we got our questions for our interview finalized. Tomorrow we are interviewing Mr. Morones from Border Angels. I'm not going to lie this is pretty exciting to see what he thinks about the subject we have been doing research and hard work on. Also our flash looks super great.

Tomorrows my SLC so heres my outline:

Student Led Conference
Strengths:
-I’m good at writing, so I do good on writing assignments.
-Group work comes to me easily and it helps a lot when you aren’t understanding something.

Challenges:
-I do things fast just to get them over with and sometimes I make small mistakes that mess me up in the long run.
-I procrastinate my homework so that I have too much on one day.

Class Participation:
-I participate in class when I have something to contribute to the conversation. If I don’t fully understand what we are talking about I usually won’t talk. Also I don’t like to repeat the same thing as another person and my idea was already said so I feel there is no need for me to say anything.

Work:
-For Humanities I will be presenting a writing assignment we had to do where we to write about if we were a conquistador or a native during the time when Colombus came to America.
-For Chemistry I will be showing my lab note book. The reason I chose these is because I understand all the stuff for labs and they are fun.

Goals:
-I would like to improve my working habits by paying more attention to what I am doing and to slow down when im doing work.
-For a social goal I would like to get to know my teammates better.
-My personal goal would be to care more about things and not just do them because I have to.
