Album Reviewww!!!

Gym Class Heroes
As Cruel as School Children
2006

Lyricist Travis McCoy does it again, with another collection of songs with catchy melodies and lyrics everyone can relate to. Him and his band have taken their success to another level with the hit singles "Cupids Choke Hold" and "Clothes Off." Their 'As Cruel as School Children' album was released in 2006 and is a gold seller.

As well as the great music there are also a few tracks on this CD that are much more poetic and love struck. The three part "Sloppy Love Jingle" plays through the process of Travi trying to get a girl at the bar. This "song" isn't much of a stereotypical song due to the fact that it is more of like a spoken word, poem but it tells a story throughout the album. Personally i don't think the album could end any better than the last few words that are spoken.

Gym Class Heroes also plays many tributes to other bands in their song "On my Own Time." They given recognition to bands such as Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and I am the Avalanche.

Overall this album is pretty love savvy and talks about how they cant seem to keep a girl. Yet there is still a deeper meaning in all the songs and the music pretty much speaks for its self. I say it's an album worth buying and Gym Class Heroes will go farther as time goes by.

I'm not going to lie, this review makes me want to check out this album. You make it sound very good. You said that the last few words spoken made the CD end very well, what were those words? I would like to know, it's like a mystery. Otherwise I think that this was pretty much a Rolling Stone worthy review. :]

I love love love your choice of Album to review esspecially seeing as the Gym Class Heroes might not always get the credit that they deserve since only one or two of their songs are maintstreem and widely listened to. Your review definitley would encourage readers to listen to more Gym Class Heroes to listen for the stories in the lyrics that you were talking about and their very individual and cool style. Your review gets 5 stars :]
